Exhaust manifolds for 6.5 diesel [Archive]

Hi forum members, I know this is probably a stupid question but how can I figure out which 6.5 diesel i have, reason I ask is because I have seen people relate to them as s or l or something like that. I am looking at trying to find some exhaust manifolds for it.

The VIN code on the rig will tell you. There is S and F and some others depending on the year of the truck.

The exhaust manifolds Should be the same no matter which engine. The only difference in manifolds would be from a truck to a van/hummer with the center turbo.
