Has anyone replaced an air heater relay? $315. and not under warranty.

The intake air heater and related components are covered under the engine's 5 year/100,000 mile warranty as well as the emissions warranty.

Thank you for the information Jim. Unfortunately, GM says this is not a covered item (5/100k). Can you tell me how I can verify this? Even GM customer service couldn't give me a definitive answer.

does it set a engine code? if so then its a emission control part , should be covered . I think this will give your service DEPT a good fight and they will not win.
