I will be installing a new exhaust system from Pinnacle Power Exhaust it’s a 4" Diesel Exhaust by J. Jardine with a 4” muffler. The muffler is the fluted kind. I want as MUCH Noise Reduction as possible at this point. My wife will not drive a tank. So I am thinking of installing with the flute hole facing the exhaust stream, that is with the holes toward the engine (to catch as much of the exhaust as possible?). As I understand it this will produce the maximum nose reduction possible with this setup. But before I do this want to check with TDP forums to make sure I am covering all the bases?
