Art, The stronger wheel is alcoa forged and handle 3750lb load, price is right too.

I took my set and a mild bead blasted to em, primed em with self etching primer, then applied flat black teflon finish. No center caps only the factory lug covers.

I'm confused by your response. I was asking if around 2005, GM started to install or offer as an option a chrome version of the stock H2 wheel. Seems most 2005 and 2006 Hummer H2 take off rims people are selling on eBay are listed as Chrome. In looking at the pictures, I don't remember the H2 rim having chrome on the outer surfaces but was a buff silver.

Anyway, I got off topic somewhat you'll see the H2 type wheel alcoa has, not sure of load rating.

Is Alcoa the manufacturer that makes the stock GM H2 rim?
