Hello all , new to Dieselpage. community but not to diesel rides.
Currently own two diesel 1ton trucks, the newest being a 84Chevy 10' dump with a J code 6.2, the other is of a brand that will remain nameless.
It has the original 6.2 with only 78K for miles and runs great! It was my first time driving N/A diesel and it was not the slug that I was told it would be!
I'm looking for engine specific info that I can use to make this mill last for a long time and maybe improve MPG and hauling performance.
I'm sure this is the most asked question but what better way to introduce yourself than to be painfully repetitive..:D
Looking for a recommended air-filter or filter assembly , store-bought or home brewed.
Also a preferred brand of muffler for the dual 2.25 straight pipes it currently has.
