Well i just started my truck after what i thought was fixing it. When i pulled the head on one side i found a blowed headgasket and bad valve.I put a new head and all on and all valves are working and new headgasket and she still has a slight miss and she fog white diesel smoke.The other side had good compression so i didnt take the head off of it.The injectors were cleaned and tested and they are good. The injection pump is brand new put on at the dealer before i bought it. They thought it was a bad pump causing the engine not to run right but i found the bad headgasket and valve. The only thing left i can think of is that they advanced the timing on the pump trying to get it to run better but they didnt know about the valve and it just couldnt compensate for the problem.Could this be the case?Does it need retimed?
