Sold my truck to a friend pending me changing/rebuilding the ip. Well, I just learned the whole 5521 and 5068 pump id's. I have a one ton truck with the "heavy duty" motor, the J code I think, and it has the 5068 ip. Well, 5068's are a bit hard to come by but a stroke of dumb luck, I happen to have a 1995 5067 ip with a bad pmd sitting in my garage. I understand te 5067 is the later version of the heavy duty engine up. Will the 5067 operate in place of a 5068? All I want to do is have it rebuilt and swap it on so my buddy can use the truck(he's already payed for it).
