View Full Version : Edge Juice or EZ Allison Slip.
I have done searches on this and read many threads. I am going to ask again. I guess looking for the latest ideas. I was thinking of putting a Juice or EZ on my 01 D-max Allison. Mybe not after reading. I thought the Bullydog spring and spool kit would be good for the Allison. Maybe not. Sounded good. My truck is 300/520 stock. A 06 is 360/650. Is the 06 6 speed Allison way better than my 01s? Otherwise wouldn't running an EZ on my truck be about the same as what a 06 is. Or the Juice on #3 be about the same? Am I nuts? Any facts or thoughts?

On the #3 setting my trucks runs fine. Just make sure that is the highest setting you get. Don't get more thinking you wont use it. You'll be just like me .. all the sudden trying to figure out how to diguise even MORE money from the wife. The #5 setting is awesome.
Stick with the lower power levels and save your money on that POS trans "fix" as it will do nothing measureable for you. The Edge is underrated in HP and TQ. The 90 HP level puts you at about 340-360 HP at the wheels and TQ around 700 lb/ft which is right at the point where the Allison clutches struggle.
