I would too! I just put this on the web site today, after first learning about it in 2002. At the time, I waited for more information and perhaps a couple more images, but they never came.... In any event, after running across the photo today, while looking for some other material, I thought it was worth posting. A belated thanks to Dan... :)

It gets me to thinking about how cool it would be to produce a 3/4 scale KW (pickup size) complete with a matching scaled down reefer trailer. The looks from other truckers (and motorists) on the Interstate might make it worth it.... :D

One of the local trucking companies around here has something similar - scaled down tractor on a pickup chassis. Pretty cool!

My 6.5l came out of a truck tha had a KW cab and dually Ford bed on it (it fit best.) The owner installed a Cummins in place of the 6.5l, and for a small fortune (to me at least LOL) will put a semi cab on your truck.

I would love to build (if I had the ability)....something similar with a Peterbuilt 379 cab and a flat deck for hauling ATV's and stuff. Wicked unit....

I've got a 1967 Kenworth that I am thinking about doing something similar with. It is currently a full size truck with a destroyed 8V92 Detroit in it. I've got a 1976 GMC 3/4 ton pickup with a 4-53T Detroit in it that I might put the 67 Kenworth cab and hood and a dually pickup bed and dual real wheels on. Been thinking about it for a long time.

Just got back from the ATHS annual convention in Colorado Springs Colorado. There were a couple of the small frame truck chassis with big truck bodies on them at the show. One had a Peterbilt with a 4-53 Detroit for power. The 6 cylinder Cummins with a Dodge chassis is the more common undercarige (sp). A B model Mack (1950/60) and a couple of Kenworths were done this way. Worst thing I see on these conversions is most stay with the original 16" wheels. The 16's do not even come close to filling the wheel wells of these full size trucks. They require 20 or 22 inch wheels to look right. With the current supply of adaptors and wheels not that hard to do. Most had dually beds, and some had sleepers between the cab and bed. Did not see any 6.2 or 6.5 powered conversions.
