should i buy this 6.2

I am looking at a 89 blazer with a 6.2. The body is completely shot so its a parts truck. The engine however runs awsome. He is asking $800. Do you think this is too much for a parts truck? Oh, its a goodwrench engine and it has the V belt on it. There is 156k on the truck and he says its the original motor??? Which doesnt make sense to me.

If it was original, there'd be no Goodwrench sticker on it. Goodwrench and Targetmaster are replacement motors only. Seriously, if it runs, and it's a 4x4 with a decent trans., it's worth every bit of $800.00. If you go to do a transplant, you'll have everything you need.

Are the Goodrich motors any good? I had a toyota with a goodwrench 350 and it spun a bearing at like 40,000 miles.
