View Full Version : Pinion Seal Replacement 14 Bolt Ff?

I have to change out the pinion seal on my 14 bolt ff. Any of you know if I can remove the pinion/u-joint flange retaining nut w/wheels on ground, or do I need to lock the flange to take it off?

Use an impact gun and it'll come off without locking. If you're using hand tools you'll need to lock it and have something to brace yourself against while using your legs to break the nut loose.
