I have heard some talk about homemade boost foolers/controllers/adjuster.......how exactly do you make one of these and how would you hook one of these up.......im not looking to make huge boost.......but some extra power when pulling a trailer would be nice it seems.Plus I like the whistle ;)

Put a potienteometer (SP) accross the leads to the boost sensor wires. Everone was putting them under the hood but I traced the wires to the puter and wired it in in the dash. 9/10 ohms nets about 11 to 12 lbs boost. Thats the most ou want to go without an after cooler.

I hope this isn't innappropriate - forgive me if it is! I don't know how to make one, but check out the classfieds - I recently put my adjustable boost controller up for sale (originally bought it from John Kennedy).

11-12 seems a little high for what I was thinking. Its gonna be a farm truck so i aint gonna hot rod it a lot.So if I use less ohms i can get a little less boost?

On the 94-5, boost control is best performed by the chip. Foolers work OK to a point, but a chip makes for a much smarter setup.
