started injector replacement

The passenger side is done. I pulled the turbo and that proved for me to be the best idea. Not a big deal at all.
I did discoved that one of my heater hoses had rubbed against the turbo and the inner hose was exposed. Failure waiting to happen.
Replaced both hoses and will do the driver side
tomorrow.

Can anyone describe the soot pattern around the nozzle? Soot all the way around and soot only
on 60% of the nozzle.

maybe try new post like 'FI nozzle Soot Pattern'--there may be some help here from somebody who doesn't want to read another post on injector access//injector wrenches. (i dunno)
