View Full Version : 95 Suburban good / bad ?
Hello,
Here is a quickly needed answer or advice.
My brother is currently bidding on a 95 suburban on e-bay (#4598999445).
It is a 3/4T, 6.5T, 2wd with 200K+ miles. Fully loaded and seems very clean. It says it has a new Inj. pump and has been well maintained.
My brother has a new 6.5 n/a in the garage. it has less than 5K on it and could possibly be put in the truck if future issues come up.
Any thoughts about this year and model?
It is up to $4100 with 1.5 hrs to go.
Thanks

Did he win?
95's were great, only 'burb with the ODB-1 electronics and the "newer" style interior.
ODB-1 elecronics are an advantage in some ways, the ability to check for DTC's with a paperclip (no scan tool required) and you can change the "chip" by removing the computer and replacing the e-prom, big advantage for improving fuel delivery etc. electronically.
I really like(d) mine.
The 6.5 n/a sitting as a spare is a GREAT thing to have, he'll likely need it sometime in the future, hopefully not soon though.
Continued.....He didn't get the Sub but I want to thank you for the info. We will keep looking for another one and try to focus on a 95 model yr..
