GM turbo down pipe

Before i joined the Diesel page one of the things that i r&r'ed was that down pipe that looked like someone used it for a battering ram. I ordered one up at the dealer and it looked like it should. Little did i know that the pipe that was on there was the way it was made. The GM replacement pipe is a good unit and it only cost 80.00$. Just thought the membership should know.

i can get you a mandrel bent downpipe for 65.00 here in iowa.got one for my 92 smooth as a babies butt.

The newer ones are better. When I pulled the stock exhaust off my 99 suburban I was surprised at the stock downpipe. I had heard they were atrocious, but mine wasn't bad at all. Somewhere in there, GM decided that maybe all that backpressure wasn't helping out their turbo.

I've still got my stock exhaust system if anyone wants it. I'll let it go pretty cheap.
