called friend of mine today, he's in fleet sales at a local Chevy dealer. ASked him about a reg cab, long bed, 4x4 d-max auto, work truck...no other options.
28,325.00
360 horse, 6 speed ally.
he has 3 as most people want ext cabs these days.

The repair of my truck will exceed trade value, so will prolly fix and keep.
Just dont want to crack again after putting more money in a truck than it is worth, eventhough it is a great truck.

Deal seems to be 2 ways: Fix and keep for 3-5 more years, fix and sell. and get this LBZ (my color too WHITE)


do any of you guys know how much it sucks to go to an S-10 after a truck like mine? (and i mean a 2.2l s-10)!!

You'd love the Dmax, I know I do. It's a tough call on what to do. I fixed my '93 up with the intent to sell and upgrade. I ended up getting the upgrade, but can't give my '93 away... Seems that nobody wants these things anymore with the lucrative deals on new ones.

I know how you feel about the s-10, I have been in and out of a beat up lincoln town car when my '93 was down off and on. 12 MPG on a good day and it has nearly 300K miles...
