No Brake lights on the Trailer

Everything else works, except the brake lights on the trailer. Someone in a new Suburban said their problem was above the fuel tank and it had to be dropped for repairs. Any takers on this?

Did you check the fuses? Factory trailer wiring has separate fuses.

If the turn signals & brake lights on your truck work, & the turn signals on your trailer work,then you probably have a blown fuse in the underhood box.

All fuses are good. I'd heard that there was a problem in a harness above the fuel tank.
