Greetings from Istanbul,
My truck is a 95 Tahoe.6,2L engine-700R4,Bowtie lock up kit.I couldnt find any 700R4 comes from V8 engine while I swapping engine and I bought a 700R4 which comes from V6 army truck. My driving 60% city(16 MPG),40%hway(22 MPG).Time is tire change and I am thinking 31,65``instead of 30,47``.My concerns, how much affect big tires to my city MPG and to my 700R4`s life.
Thanks for any advice.

I don't think that the bigger tires are going to kill your mileage or the transmission.

What is the gear ratio of the differentials? I'm going to guess it's either 3.08 or 3.42 from the mileage you're getting.

You'll have to re-calibrate the speedometer to reflect the tire change, or your fuel mileage calculations will be inaccurate.

What is the factory size tire that came on the vehicle? This information will be found on the driver's door frame.

Probaply gear ratio is 3.42 and the door says LT 245/75R16(30,47 inch).I would like to buy a set of Pirelli Scorpion and they dont have my factory size,so they offered me LT 265/75R16(31,65 inch),

Thanks
