There was another thread on the Fluidampr but it was locked (I guess from the changeover in forums).
Was reading through Diesel Progress and there was a news item on Fluidampr releasing a new line of dampers for diesels including Dodge, Ford, and Chevy. However, it looks like it will just be for the Duramax... :(

Posted the info over in the other thread. This one could be deleted now...
I've heard bad things about Fluidamper from a very credible source.

Any details as to why the Fluids might not be a good choice for our engines? I have used them and read good things about them in gas racing applications for some time but it is obviously a very different application. I am really not interested bad mouthing any one but am curious about real information as it relates to the machines I have. Thanks,Jeff

My son called me a few days ago telling me that there was a strange rattle up front under the hood, asked him to check the balancer. It came apart but as luck would have it the belt pully held it inplace with about 1/16" of an inch of total failure. If perhaps he was on the highway the story may verywell read "Need a Motor".
fluidamper is way behind the times compared to ATI and other companys
Fred Roland at Fluidampr indicated to me in a recent email that they experienced an unexpected delay and were about 6 weeks from completion.
