Both mine on my 2500 hd are fine ! any chance you have a tire ballance problem? If it feel tight by hand , I would look at tire and drive shaft ......OEM tire are not known for being the "best "....

Thanks for the reply. The tire will be the next thing I try, however it drives smooth with no steering wheel vibration. Harry

I don't suppose you might have put a Bug Deflector on at the same time as the mirrors ?
I'm not sure about the 06 but in the earlier models some of the Bug Deflectors would cause the Mirrors to vibrate and the windshield trim to flap .
This happened to me .
Does the drivers side mirror have the electronic dimming feature ?

No bug shield installed but it does seem to look like turbulent air flow, it

I dont see the bug deflector being the issue, I have had one on my last 2 trucks..... I still say its tires ! my 2001 duramax had firepop (firestone AT) tires , since day one they where out of ballance and no mater how many time they where rotated or ballanced it had a vibration from 65 up..... Changed to a set of michelins at 40K miles problem was gone !

Dittos! ... I changed out the Firestones on my 03 at 9k for a set of Michelin's. They have 48Kmiles on them now and are stilling running smooth and quiet with plenty of tread left to go .. All I've done is rotate them (same side front to back) every 7-9k .. Never had them balanced. They cost a few bucks more but are worth it (IMHO) .. However, I've noticed my stock Mirrors, the auto-folding heated type with the LED turn signals, also vibrate a bit - especially in a strong cross wind ... seems like it's worse now that when it was new..
