I was looking on e-bay and found a used 6.5 intake manifold. I noticed the one on e-bay has a round hole opening on the top of the intake. I thought, I do not remember this on mine, so I went out and looked at mine.
Mine does NOT have a opening on the top of the intake.
I just recently purchased my truck and the guy told me that it had a Gm replacement engine in it and it does have to black valve covers that say "new 6.5" Goodwrench.
Can anybody advise since mine does not have the hole can you help me identify anything particular about this engine? The part # on the intake is 10149635.
I really do appreciate the help I have recieved off of the board. Who nows, maybe one day I will be answering questions instead of asking hem.
