Can anyone give me a part number for belt tensioner on a 2001 Duramax?

Still a valid #, according to gmpartsdirect.com , and about $70. 1/2 the cost of the dealer.

OE is known to have issues. After market did some modifications. For a 2001 Dmax the Goodyear part number is 49269. Cost would be about $50.00.

the original went bad at 15,000 miles and this one is bad at 47,000. I did some research and found that Goodyear put in a different type of Spring in their tensioner. I have one to install.
