I wonder how the new Ams/Oil Nanofiber air filter would stack up on this test?

Lots of good info. there. I see they tested up to 350 CFM, I wonder has anyone had their heads on a flow bench to find out what do the intakes flow on a stock Dmax head? I doubt the stock cam has enough lift to flow those numbers, but I could be wrong.

Very interesting. I have been from the school of replacing paper OEM filters quite regularly, but have recently upgraded both trucks with mods (#2 and #4 below) to oiled gauze style filters.

Since we run down the road on concrete most of the time, we don't suck as much fine dirt as a construction job truck would, or a farmer might.

That being said, I am pretty sure that sticking with the paper OEM style filters would have been my best bet. I, too gave into the marketing hype!!!
