You would need a dash, steering wheel, fuel tank and lines for sure. MP, anything else?

I don't think the engine in the pic is an 06 (at least not out of a truck). It looks nothing like mine and has an FICM on the pass side of engine. The 06 doesn't have an FICM. I have not seen a duramax van, but I think they have the Bosch computer and no FICM also.

The engine looks like an 04/05 LLY... Still a very good price for the package if it goes for something close to where the bid is. :)

To put all this in an '01/02 truck, you'd need the ECM/TCM matching the engine, at least one large electrical harness, radiator, fan shroud, intercooler, IP cluster, fuel tank sender/hose package & fuel lines, fuel cooler, and possibly a second battery tray.

There's a 100K mile+ 2002 Duramax truck for sale in the classified ad forum for 20K$. ;)

My concern would be the origin of the engine. If it came from a rollover wreck, and ran upside down.

There has been lots of speculation on other boards that this truely isn't an LBZ. A few people were interested in it an the seller refused to give them numbers off the engine and said only the winning bidder would get them... Sounds like a scam to me.:eek:
