Since the 2001 models, the drivetrain was covered just for the first 3/36. The Duramax engine (including the fuel system, turbo, glow system, etc.) has always been covered for 5/100. :)

Am I loosing it? My '95 was the same, and I'm pretty sure the '93 was too.

The initial "Diesel engine" warranty is the same now, as it has always been, since 1979. 5/100. The language is still the same, only now it includes some "emmission components", which weren't present back then. There has never been a "drivetrain warranty". The engines have always been covered separately after the initial factory warranty, currently, B to B for 3/36.
