I thought I might as well get me a service manual for the 03 truck. I ordered one from the dealer and it came in a BIG box. I think there are 5 volumes to it!
It covers the Silverado, Sierra, Yukon, and the Denalis. It covers all the motors and transmissions.

Thanks for the Link. That is the part # they ordered and the dealer charged me $125 but I had to pay tax.
A subscription to www.Alldatadiy.com also comes in handy .. gives you access to TSB's and the latest updates & procedures that didn't make it into the hard copy manuals.. makes it easy to print sections of the manual too ... having both the Helms and Alldata is ideal (IMHO)...

Have you used the alldatadiy webb site long enough to consider it worth the money? Just curious, I've got the Helms Manuals, so I'm wondering if it would be of any benefit to pay a membership for the alldatadiy info.?

I've had it for about a year now, and it's worth its weight in gold, so to speak. I use it for several vehicles and take advantage of the price break for multiples. It's not any better, or worse than printed manuals, but the search feature really shines. Also, you don't have to mess with supplemental releases and updates.
I highly recommend it.
