View Full Version : Hummer H2 Duramax
There is a H2 with a Duramzx and Allison for sale on Ebay. Owner is oking for $80,000 or so. He gives a very general description of his conversion to add the almost new Duramax and Allison to the 10,000 mile Hummer H2. Lots of power and rubber burner. As More Power explained in his Duramax conversion much detail and wiring issues for a conversion. I guess $80,000 is cheaper than $120,000 for the Duramax H1's, but the H2 is such a grocery getter!

Yeah, especially if your groceries usually consist of salmon, free range chicken, sun dried tomatoes, 2 cases of spring water, tofu, alfalfa sprouts, granola and wine coolers.
I know its a stereotype - but stereotypes are so often accurate. There are two or three H2s around town. All driven by female realtor-looking types with implants, spray on tans and more diamonds than Liberace.
To me, the Hummer (suburbanite H2 model that is) is not a symbol I care to promote. We no longer 'walk softly and carry a big stick', like back in the day. Today, we swagger, talk loudly, listen poorly - and carry automatic weapons.
