Just wanted to share my mpg records with reg. oil vs synthetic.Ive never used a synthetic oil before this,but after recently hitting the 120,000 mi. mark on my truck,I thought it would be a good time,mainly for the cold weather benefits.I was happy to get the highest mpg reading yet.I was consistanty getting between 14-16 mpg unloaded,and this time got 17,stop and go traffic,nonetheless.Some of you guys may laugh at those numbers,but it is a 4.10 geared truck,that weighs around 6,300 lbs empty.I'm expecting slightly higher readings on the highway.
