Backup light problem

My truck is a 02 D/A 2500 HD crewcab. Finally took it in to the dealer to have the backup lights repaired as they have not been working for some time now. Prior to taking it in I checked bulbs and fuses which were OK. Dealer called at the end of the day and said I'd have to leave the truck as he can't get power to the switch.

I started a thread in Nov. of 05 and had a reply from Modified which I will pass on to the dealer. If anyone has any other ideas on what may be the problem, please post asap and I will send them off first thing tomorrow morning.

Dealer just called and apparently it was a broken wire causing the problem with my backup lights. Seems it is warranty work and thank goodness as they spend 3-4 hours finding it.
