I am not sure this is the place to post this, but I need help.
My driver side door will not open!
I parked to go in a store, locked it like normal (remote for alarm) came out, unlocked, (all of the doors unlocked). The door will NOT open at all! I locked and unlocked thinking something was not allowing it to unlock, but it is unlocked. How can I get to the door panel to see what it is?
This is on a 1995 Suburan driver side door

Thanks for any advice

Try taking the hand pad off the inside panel, two philips screws. The window crank comes off next. Manual has a "C" clip between the white plastic and handle. The inside entire panel is clipped on with plastic barbed push pins around the perimeter except for at the top near the window. This part of the door cover slides up and out after all the push pins are released.

GM door handles are known to break. They are very cheaply made. You now drill out one rivet and the assembly slides forward and up? The rods connecting the lock are now accessible. This entire process is much easier with the door open though!
