 bought a new engine from Kennedy Sales and Service the bellhousing bolts have changed from standard thread to metric 10mm. would like to know if and where could get a bolt with a stud on top to attach the line holders. Bolt must be 10mm 1.5 pitch 35mm lenght stud on top about 8mm by 20mm lenght

those would be the same bolts used on any of the new trucks for example 1998 k2500 with 6.5 and auto trans would have used those bolts you are asking about call local dealer they show be able to get them for you I think the gas 5.4, 5.7, 6.0,7.4 and 8.1 all use the same bolts back there

Ah, Melby (Ken?)--
Was the original engine a '96....and are you saying the '96 came with 3/8" rather than 10mm hardware??

was not the original engine it was a Mashel rebuild? Looked like they used a 6.2 block because the oil sending unit was on the back of the engine was not a good rebuild. But what I could gather by talking to the local gm dealer gm 6.5 tell they quite making the engine they said they all used 3/8 studs the 10mm studs came when am general started to build them but that is what the said I am not sure if that is all correct but that is what they told me
