Injection Pump on Ebay- Numbers Don't Match

Hi

I saw this pump on eBay, but when I cross the numbers he gives to the chart in the reference section here, nothing matches. Am I reading the chart wrong and those numbers are the begining of the production sequence for each year? Also, what does the J mean after 5088? Is that from a J engine?

He lists the following:

DB2-5088J

Model#8162234

S/N 10229115

Says it came from a 91 GMC 2500 Van, claims the pump has 15,000 miles on it. Is this interchangeable with all other mechanical pumps?

I was wondering why the#'s didn't jive, he has it listed as being for a 6.2. He doesn't list a shipping amount and hasn't responded to my request for a quote either. Seemed kind of shady to me.

Great link! Here I could find my pump (DB2-4524), which I haven't been
able to find anywhere else.

According to their list, my pump is a "1986-88 6.2L Military HMMWV". The
engine's valve cover tells that my engine applies to FED88 and is a heavy
duty version with 150 hp. Could the 4524 pump be standard on this engine,
or is it more likely that it's been exchanged in the past? I'm more and more
confused by every new detail I find on my truck!
