Great. This is all I need. Another 'over the top' idea to try to cram under my hood in order to build the baddest obs chevy diesel on the planet. My twin turbo's and ram air are already going to be taking up enough room! If this works and works well, I'll be pumped! (No pun intended) Here's an idea along those same lines(again with the pun). How about two pumps feeding custom injectors via dual lines. If the timing on the pumps was adjusted differently so as to make one pump give an earlier shot like the pilot shot that new diesels use, and the other giving a larger shot later for power?! How about it? Could it work? What do you guys think?

I was at the birth off the idea at the Euro rendesvous, I spoke to Lambert recently and at the test bench it seems to work.
It does like 1 3/4 time normal flow at 3900 RPM.
I lent him my gearset and dieseldepot cam to comleet this set up.
This tractor is a very fine example of home engineering at top level!

Ok, I read the posts before checking the link out and I figured that Peter was using the term "tractor" in some European way to refer to a big pickup or something - sort of like our "tractor trailer" term... Then I clicked the link...

Dutch tractor pulling!
I see some things that are different, but it's largely the same sport as here.
That Massey will really scoot!:D :D :D
How does he make that kind of power and it does't smoke? Yet on the way back to the pits it does. Here in the states, all of our diesel tractors smoke several feet high.

Last weekend I went to see the machine in action with the dual pump set up.
If it's working?
if you see the movies you'll notice there is no smoke during the pull, now this is what you get with just another pump added!
Pictures can be seen at bigger scale in the photo albums

Next week Arjan is going to see a pull on the ather side of the country, he made the first movie and sure will shoot a new clip!
For those who's interested, this rig will appear at this years Eurorendezvous again, we might even arrange a truck/ tracktor pull if there are enough people willing to try!
