high idle

I'm looking at putting a high idle switch on my truck (2001). I have read kennedy's instructions, i was just wondering where you guys are tapping into to get power to the switch.

I've actually been doing this all under hood in many cases. The 01 may not like this as it has a 875 rpm standby speed if memory serves. I do total underhood on 2002+ and include an override switch to shut it off. The override switch is only really necessary if you want to rev up in Park or for the 2001 models.
