Dmax won't start

2002, Dmax, 6speed with 88000 miles. Will start in the morning and run for about 5 sec. then die, like it runs out of fuel. The only way to get it to start again is to pump the pump on top of the fuel filter four or five times until it gets hard, then it will start up and run fine, until it sits overnight then the same thing again. Had to dealer three times and they can't find the problem. Put new fuel filter on and still have the problem. Has anyone had this problem. Need help.

If air is getting into the fuel system try tightening the fuel filter and checking the fuel hoses.
