Installed a new coolant temp sensor in the crossover today. I let the truck cool for about 3 hours or so and it still didnt have the higher idle...maybe it didnt sit long enough? Temp gauge in the truck was at minimum, 160 I think. The temp outside is about 30 F. Does it have to be colder to kick in the higher idle at cold start up? Got the part from GM so hopefully its good. High idle does kick in when I pull the connector off the sensor. Any ideas would be appreciated, still trying to peg this as it leads to rough running the first 15 minutes of the drive or so. Thanks.
