Better with lift pump off................

A couple weeks ago I posted about how my truck smokes and quits,misses and carries on when started. Looking through troubleshooting guide I thought I'd look at the pump. Well that checked out ok. But the, I thuought what would happen if I took the fuse out. Walla it starts better and don't smoke as bad plus, it hardley misses at all .. I asked around her and all i get is Dandruff in the air from all the head scratching.
I am ready to pull my hair out. what the hell is amatter with this truck????????????????

There's an explanation, but I'm not sure from the description exactly what symptoms you have.
Is it a cold start issue that goes away when warm?
Have you put the fuse back in/out to show that lift pump disabling "cures" it?
First start in the a.m., or all starts?

Lemme get this straight. You're saying your truck runs good with the lift pump off and bad with it on? that's gotta be a first...

So, test the fuel line pressure with and without the pump. My guess is it's sither gonna be too high or blocked with the pump on.

Then again it may be possessed...
