6.5 Block Crack Poll - Take 2

Here is a follow-up poll to address some shortcomings in the first one. Please provide as much information as possible. Thanks.

It took me a couple of tries to get the questions just the way that I wanted them. I think this will do, though.

In looking at previous poll results, the summary shows stock setups have higher rate of fail than modded ones, I'm of opinion that while mods do increase power; if done properly and not abused extra power mods also add life to the engine, of course now I've just doomed mine :D

I would agree with the reason being that owners that modify there trucks normally have a good set of guages and use them. However that didn't help me. ;) Hopefully I will have better luck with the GEP 2003 long block. It currently has 38k on it and has NO problems. I still haven't had the heart to dispose of my old block....

The towing question don't give an option for heavy towing less than 30% of the time.

I don't tow a lot of the time, but I have towed with grow weigh of 17K - 19K for lots, but 30% of 200K miles is 60K miles. I doubt very my trucks tow that much unless used for commercial use.

It's hard to please everyone. ;)

What about truck type 3500, 2500, 1500, pickup, van, SUV. It may be interesting to see if people with SUVs (Blazer, Yukon, Subs)or 1500s have fewer cracked blocks. I would think pickups, especially 3500s & 2500s would be worked harder so therefore be more likely to have a cracked block. Maybe for a future poll.
