Wanted: Tahoe w 6.5TD

I'm trying to find a later model Tahoe in decent shape with the 6.5 in it. 2 or 4 door. I will add this to my 'fleet' of 6.5's I began with my 98 Suburban. I am in Texas but willing to fly out and retrieve the right Tahoe.

Just FYI,

GM didn't make a 4 door Tahoe with the 6.5L. Don't ask me why, just one of those wierd options that wasn't available. You can only get a 6.5L in the 2 door Tahoe or 4 door Suburban.

I love my '95 Tahoe, it's a great vehicle. Quite luxurious for a diesel SUV. I found mine at a local dealership. Just saw the holes in the bumper as I was driving by.

Thanks, yes I have my mind set on a Tahoe if I can find the right one.
On the 4 door issue, a fellow in Dallas advertised one last summer on-line with the pics, it was a 99 Tahoe 4 door model and it had the 6.5TD engine. It may have been a special order and it is the only one I've ever seen.
I prefer a two door.
Anyone out there willing to let one go?

There are a couple being advertised in the Portland OR area on craigslist.org. I've been looking for a 4-dr but would be fine with a Vortec 350 as I don't do much towing and the wife dislikes the diesel "stink".

There is a 94 advertised on the New Orleans Craigslist. Looks like a decent truck. I am about an hour or so away in MS, so I could run down there and check it out for one of you guys.
