injection pumps

I am looking at a ds-4 injection pump from a 2000 GM. Will this work okay on my 94 6.5 TD? The pump code# is DS4831-5531J
model 9861960 M 34583 11/1/00

Eric,

I'm guessing that this is the pump that sold on Ebay last night. I saw the posting earlier in the week and emailed the seller to confirm he had a 5531 as I have not heard of that number. He replied that it was a typo and actually a 5521. My local Stanadyne facility tells me that the 5521 is the latest version available. I had been watching Ebay for these myself. Someone else may be able to confirm this info. Either way, I'm fairly certain that the latest pump should fit your truck.
