Dr. Lee, I have a 2004 Duramax LLY GMC. The problem I have is that during cold weather before the truck is completely warmed up (under 180 degrees), at 1500 RPM, throttle position neutral (no load), the motor will surge noticably. Any ideas??

Your truck is 20 years newer than mine, with about 20 times more electronic technology. If you post your question in the Duramax Forums, you will get a much better answer than I can provide.
