Hi Doc,
I have a non-diesel related question. (My diesels are running ok right now)
I own a '02 GMC Sierra with a 5.3L. At Blackstone Labs suggestion, I waited until my 19,000 mile oil change to have an analysis done. They say everything looks good. No moisture, fuel, or coolant found in the oil. I really don't know the significance of the other numbers on the chart and thought you might shed some light on them. I have the analysis in a word document and would like to email it to you, but don't know your email address. A few of the numbers are higher than the universal averages listed (boron, calcium, etc.) but this might be because of the type of oil I'm using. (Mobil 1) Your comments would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Dave
