I had two relatively new batteries in my suburban, but after cleaning up connectors, grounds and re-installing new 2ga. cables I realised that when the suburban did not fire up I could get a jump on the drivers side battery and the thing would fire right up.... so this is it...under load you need to stay well above 12 volts. I purchase two 800CCa gel cell batteries and it works like a champ....no stall...great idle ...and great on excel.... New pump (8k) so I am hoping it is not on the way out....I will know in a couple of months...thanks for the info.
