Dr Lee,

We met at the first rendevouz and you showed us some data on your oil filter tests. Have you or anyone else updated those tests with the new filters on the market?

Hi Jerry,

I have not done anything official, but I occasionally cut up a new filter to have a look.

Fram is still using cardboard end plates, last time I looked, so I still would stay away from Fram filters. As I said at the time, among all the non-Fram filters there were no BAD filters, just better and best. If you have a particular filter you are interested in, I will get one and examine it, and compare it to the previous data.
