It seems email virus scams occur in cycles. Beginning yesterday, I began receiving short email messages with a variety of attachments ( .zip, .pdf, .doc, etc.).
If you receive any, do not open any of them.
The discouraging thing about these messages is that they appear to originate from people or organizations you know. The intention is to give the recipient confidence when deciding whether to open the attachment. Again, do not open any attachment.
What follows is an example of just one of these email virus scam messages I received this morning. This message did not come from us. I received a variety of additional messages with attachments that were made to appear to originate from other senders.
