I read a thread some weeks back that identified a supplier that you could buy just the cross over pipe for the dual thermostat. For the life of me I can not find it.
I thought it was a wholesale GM parts outfit.
Can anyone help me out.
Thanks

Maybe it was - www.gmpartsdirect.com (http://www.gmpartsdirect.com) ?
I bought just the cross over and the outlet from local GM dealer. I think I paid 115 or so and 45.
Will do the water pump and timing set later this spring.

Cost and frustration
The relationship with my Suburban is like I'm the wife and the Suburban is the dead beat husband. No matter how I care for it, it continues to let me down.
So I'm standing up to it now and saying you don't deserve those DSG gears until I see some improvement you will get a new timing chain and that's it.
And if this doesn't cure my issue (smoke at start up)were geting divorced.
As I'm starting to fancy that Duramax
So will see what happens ;)

Spoken like a true "Desperate Housewife" Nigel. I saw a dual thermostat crossover pipe on ebay today for about $30 with a day or two left. Do a search for 6.5 dual thermostat and you should find it right away.
