What type of tailgate?

What tailgate is the best to use with a 5ver trailer? I had a louvered metal one on my last truck, this time I'm trying a net type. Do you guys run a stock gate or none at all?
Can I open gate and hook up then close gate after hookup.
I had the net type on for my maiden trip, but hate the way it looks!

I would the same tailgate as you used before.
Just make sure you get one that fit your truck
correctly. I've tow with and aerogate an without
trouble the regular tailgate if get side track very easy to forget the next thing you know tailgate is junk and trailer don't look so good either. I had tailgate that was suppose to fit my truck
"aerogate" an it fell going down the road an did
damage to my trailer. Camping World has a nice one for over $300. Hope that helps.

Thanks, I guess I have to pass on the one for $300 this year and put up with the looks of the ProNet from Summit, but will take it off when I'm not using the trailer.
The trouble I had with the one from Campers World is once it started looking old, we had to sandblast all the Powder Coating off before we could paint it. Now that it's painted and in my rafters in the garage, I'll have to find some poor Ford owner to wholesale it to.(give)
Maybe I could find one made of Stainless Steel and won't need paint'n.
