Well we have completed the changeover of the 6.5 N/A to a 6.5 Turbo. All went well, with the only problem in using the parts from our 6.5 TD was getting the exhaust manifolds to fit. I think that the difference in egt's in the N/A and the TD is just enough to cause a difference in shrinkage, we had to us a propane weed burner to heat the Tubro exhaust manifolds to get the bolt patterns to match up with the N/A heads. Anyway back the second problem. When we installed the 93 TD oilcooler lines and tightend them up, however the swivel joint remained loose and you could move the lines by hand (don't think thats right). Since we disassembled the blown 93TD 2 months before we got the new motor I am wondering if meabe I have lost something that goes to those lines where they screw into the block? Is there a fitting that threads into the block or does the elbow just thread in. I don't remember what was there to begin with. Anyone have a drawing or parts numbers for the cooler lines
