Remote Starter Info

Some questions came up a while ago about remote starters and which ones to buy, and about a turbo-cool down feature. I didn't know it then, but the one I have has this feature (I press a button, pull out the keys with the engine running, exit the truck and lock it - 2 minutes later the truck turns off). I can't believe I never knew I had this feature all along! Doh! Anyways, it is totally programmable for many features - I have been very happy with it (I think it even has a lifetime warranty).

I think I have one of the cheaper ones - model 1250.

I think that was my post from a month or so ago.

I had one put in a couple weeks back. Made by DEI, the Viper people. One of the best things I've done for the truck. Have the timer set for three minutes. Best part though is having the remote door lock, which didn't come with my '94. With a little kid, this feature makes a huge difference.
