I had some river rock loaded the other day, and must have had a few errant rocks hit the exterior side of the pickup bed. When washing the truck today I noticed 4 very small chipped areas. Maybe double the size of a tip of a pencil. Hardly noticeable now - but dont want them to get bigger. What do you do to prevent corrosion on such a small area? Find touch up paint? Or is there a better procedure to ensure area wont rust. Thanks

The esterior of your pickup bed is made from plastic. I doubt it will rust. smile.gif
For looks you still might want to get some touchup paint and fill the spots though.

FirstDiesel,
The box, side and fenders on my 2003 2500HD are steel though I understand dually fenders are plastic. (The 1500's do have a composite box)

If you don't have a good body shop to mix your paint, try http://www.paintscratch.com for touch-up paints. They are a bit expensive especially with shipping, but their stuff is spot on.
